The Touko house in Charlotte — a warm brick building with a terracotta-orange front door and plants out front

TOUKO

One place for your mind, your body, and your care team.

Health & wellness for Black women. Opening in Charlotte, 2026.

Founding spots are limited.

For you

What you'll find here

Right now you have to build your own care team. A therapist here. A women's health visit across town. Someone else for your hair. None of them talk to each other.

Touko puts them under one roof. Independent providers who get it, in a space that feels like home — not a waiting room. Your therapist can walk down the hall to your psychiatrist.

Therapy

Talk with a licensed therapist who understands your life. No long waits.

Psychiatry & meds

If talk therapy isn't enough, a prescriber can help you find the right medication.

Women's health

Help with fibroids, menopause, blood pressure, and nutrition — from providers who listen.

Pelvic floor PT

Gentle physical therapy for pain, leaks, and healing after birth.

Hair & scalp health

Medical care for thinning edges, breakage, and scalp conditions. Not a salon — a diagnosis.

Pregnancy & postpartum support

Doulas and lactation help by your side, before and after baby comes.

The house

A space that feels good to walk into

Warm wood, plants, and natural light. This is what health care should feel like.

Answers

Questions people ask first

Short answers to what comes up most.

What does the waitlist cost?

Nothing. It's free, and joining doesn't commit you to anything.

When does Touko open?

In 2026, in Charlotte. We'll share the exact address with waitlist members first.

Is Touko a doctor's office?

No. Touko is the house and the support behind it. Licensed providers rent rooms here and run their own practices. Each one is responsible for the care they give.

Do you take insurance?

Every provider picks which plans they take, and their listing will say. Some also see patients who pay on their own.

I'm a therapist. How do the rooms work?

Book a room by the hour when you need one. No lease and no build-out. Pay monthly instead and the hourly rate drops.

I'm an NP in North Carolina. Can you help me find a collaborating physician?

Yes, that's one of the things we help with. Mention it on the provider form and we'll walk you through it.
